Touring Artists Cultural Program Guidelines
1. On cultural committee recommendation, Temple will be in a support role and the program category will be only for Classical Program either Indian classical Dance, Carnatic or Hindustani classical Music, and it needs to be devotional based.
2. Organizers who are bringing the proposal will be the guarantee or bearer of the overall costs including the Hindu Temple social hall costs, artist management, artist remuneration, artist travel, accommodation cost, food and needs. Related custodian aspects will be responsibility of the organizer.
3. Hindu temple responsibilities will be - advertising - regular email communications and updates on Facebook page. Set up of ticket booths on the temple premises will be accepted, provided prior permission is taken from the President or EC. For clarification all proceeds should go the Hindu Temple after the expenses have been finalized.
4. Temple AV/tech team need to be involved and updated
5. All the requirements and payment info of the artists will need to be provided in advance to the Cultural team as there should not be any surprises later. A contract needs to be signed between the organizer and the artist showing that the temple will be not responsible for anything, and this will be a strict contract only between the organizer and the artist.
